The Pan American Nondestructive Testing Committee and the Instituto Mexicano de Ensayos no Destructivos, A.C. (IMENDE) are pleased to invite you to the 5th Panamerican Conference on Non Destructive Testing, 2011 (V COPAEND, 2011) which will be held on October 2nd to 6th, 2011 at the city of Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Given the world relevance Latin American countries have nowadays, it is of great importance that their professional and technical teams are qualified with world’s cutting edge knowledge and abilities This is why IMENDE made a top goal to host in the V COPAEND in Mexico, creating a one-time opportunity for engineering to countries in the area. Due to current economic crisis, Nondestructive Testing (NDT) has become a top priority for the achievement of resources optimization both by countries and by industries. NDT is key to this process by increasing the quality and reliability of many products and processes and the integrity of infrastructure and, therefore, by cutting unnecessary costs.
